DIRK KROLL moved from Southern California to Metro-Detroit at a young age with both a Sonny Rollins and an Eddie Cochran album in tow. It didn't take long to fall in love with the Motown sound showcasing the power of strong vocal delivery with fantastic melodies. Kroll's songs are influenced by early British Pop-Rock from across the Atlantic and back, Blues, Funk, Ska and elements of Americana.  Kroll is joined by  Jeff Adams on guitar and vocals, Paul Price on drums, Adam Brode on bass, Jim Amann on keyboards with  Robert Reeves on horns. Together they present storied songs that take you somewhere with blended vocal harmonies and talent that transcends a specific genre.

The singer-songwriter is currently in the studio working out a collection that will include Rhythm and Blues-based Rock, Funk, Ska, Americana and a piano torch song sweetened with a touch of cello.

"Composed of veterans of the Detroit music scene, DKB are a  ragtag group of well-seasoned musicians at the top of their game. "Living Inside" offers an appealing mix of moody blues, surf rock guitar and the pop sensibilities of peak Elvis Costello. The album plays like your favorite record, the one that you found in the back of a vinyl shop and bought on a whim". Lianna Trimble, Total Traffic Network

"Dirk Kroll writes some punchy pop-rock music with just a good amount of grit and a charismatic swagger. The solos are fast, flame-wreathed whips and the bass/drum combo sets a solid groove. The vocals range from soft croon to high creaked crescendos, from sing-speak taunts and flirtations to heartfelt heaves of wavy melodies and dulcet intonations".."Some sure-fire toe-tappers", Jeff Milo , http://deepcutzmusicblog.com/2016/07/dirk-kroll-band.html
